Scott Sherman

Local 403 Journeyman Plumber Scott Sherman feels deeply honored to be a member of Local 403. Since joining Local 403 in 2009 as an apprentice, Scott has found that the training he has received through Local 403 has made all the difference in helping him define and achieve his career goals.  As a 31-year old, fourth-generation native of San Luis Obispo County, Scott credits the strong work ethic of his maternal Swiss-Italian grandfather (Americo Poletti) with instilling in him the rewarding feeling that comes from a hard day’s work. As a youth Scott assisted his grandfather in a variety of necessary daily duties on every aspect of his 500-acre cattle ranch on Orcutt Road in San Luis Obispo.  Scott is currently employed by HPS Mechanical. He has enjoyed working on many of San Luis Obispo counties signature projects such as the Cal Poly University Utilidor Installation, The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport, the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Hall and he is especially proud to be currently working on his alma mater, San Luis Obispo Senior High School. In his free time brother Sherman enjoys ocean fishing, hiking and disc golf.
